Position: Senior Account Executive
Description
The Senior Account Executive at CG Life is a proactive, results-driven professional who will play a key role in delivering high-quality services for clients in the life sciences, biopharma, and healthcare sectors. This role will support multiple accounts, ensuring projects stay on track, meet objectives, and are executed with attention to detail.
This role requires prior agency experience and a strong understanding of the life sciences, biopharma, and healthcare sectors. The SAE within the Client Services department is a go-getter who thrives in fast-paced environments. They are highly organized, excellent communicators, and capable of managing multiple tasks and tactics while collaborating effectively with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Client Relationships
- Builds and maintains positive client relationships through proactive, clear communication.
- Able to jump in as a contact for clients, providing timely updates on project progress, status reports, and deliverables.
- Supports billing-related communications, including invoices, financial trackers, and status updates.
Account Growth
- Expanding ability to identify new client opportunities and shares insights with senior account team members when opportunities might be present.
Account Finance
- Supports budget tracking and client billing to ensure accuracy and alignment with project scopes at the direction of their supervisor.
Project Oversight
- Supports senior team members in their daily management of client work, including creating work orders, change orders, project briefs, status reports, conference reports, and review of project timelines with the project management team.
- Reliably executes tasks with attention to detail and support to teammates as needed.
- Demonstrates significant knowledge of agency procedures and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution.
- Applies a strong understanding of the agency procedures and tools systems and supporting tools that drive communication, problem-solving, and workflow optimization.
Leadership & Strategic Guidance
- Demonstrates professional team interactions that fosters collaboration and proactive communication.
- Partners with project managers on estimating timeline generation and team communication.
- Demonstrates leadership in upholding CG Life values.
- Supports in preparation of strategy workshops and work sessions.
- May attend strategy sessions to listen and learn.
Internal Relationships
- Fosters a strong relationship and builds trust with staff/colleagues of varying levels
Knowledge & Expertise
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of agency workflows and processes to independently follow up with internal departments to address questions, anticipate issues, and keep work moving.
- Develops knowledge of client industries, business goals, and strategic priorities to provide informed support.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of healthcare or life sciences agency experience or equivalent marketing role.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project/time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible and agile, with the ability to quickly change course when the need arises.

At CG Life, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $58,000 - $70,000 and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We tailor our offers within the range based on organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic zone, and the selected candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. At CG Life, it is not common for individuals to be hired at the higher end of the range, and compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program, subject to the rules governing the plan.
